2. Products and Services
Etch & Ember specialises in custom and personalised engraved products. Many of our items are made to order based on customer specifications, including names, dates, images, drawings, or other bespoke designs.
Due to the handmade nature of our products, minor variations may occur and are considered part of the product’s character.
3. Ordering and Custom Designs
Orders are confirmed once payment has been received.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all personalisation details (including spelling, dates, and images) are correct at the time of approval.
Once production has begun, changes may not be possible.
For custom designs, customers may be asked to approve a proof before engraving. Approval confirms acceptance of the design.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Prices may change at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected.
Payment must be made in full before production begins.
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.
5. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on workload, customisation requirements, and courier services.
Etch & Ember is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers once an order has been dispatched.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Personalised Items
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, personalised or custom-made items are non-refundable, unless the item is faulty or not as described.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty or incorrect:
You must contact us within 14 days of delivery
Clear photographs may be required
We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with your statutory rights
This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Care of Products
Engraved products should be handled and cared for according to any care instructions provided. Etch & Ember is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care guidance.
8. Intellectual Property
All designs, images, text, and content on this website are the property of Etch & Ember unless otherwise stated.
Custom designs created by Etch & Ember may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without written permission.
Customers confirm they have the right to use any images, drawings, or text they provide for engraving.
9. Limitation of Liability
Etch & Ember will not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Losses resulting from incorrect personalisation details supplied by the customer
Delays outside our reasonable control
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
10. Privacy
Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
